GoDigitalChina (GDC) is a technology company in the digital advertising space, offering a SaaS-based advertising platform solely focused on the Chinese market. The company also offers complimentary services such as ad placements, campaign management, and other supporting services needed to run a successful advertising campaign in China.

Traction and growth

From an initial focus on providing advisory services to companies looking to enter the Chinese market, GDC launched its adchina.io platform in 2018.

adchina.io is a demand-side advertising platform (DSP) that aims to make digital advertising in China just as easy as it is on familiar platforms such as Google Ads or Facebook Ads.

With the success of its platform, GDC has more than doubled its revenue every year over the last three years, and now serve nearly 100 customers worldwide.

Cap Table

In 2019, the company received investments from Herfo Finans, a private investment company based in Stavanger, Norway, and also Investinor, the VC fund managing the Norwegian state’s interests in seed capital and pre-seed funding.

The Board is currently made up of the founders and their appointees, plus representatives from Herfo Finans. In addition, Investinor has appointed observers that are actively involved on the Board.
